# Token Utility

### **Function and Governance:**

$BERRY serves as the primary protocol currency for our value-generating features and products. Additionally, the token acts as the community driven governance tool through which holders direct protocol, development, and outreach decision making.

* Used as gas on the BerryChain

* Employed in all LPs ($TOKEN/$BERRY)

* Powers the Launchpad, API, SDK, and grants access to Strawberry products.<br>
